Yeah, I know, cheesy opening but I like drama and it caught your attention! Am I right? Well, as I said, welcome to my blog. As far as these things go, I don't really know what I'm doing but it's a start! You can see that I'm not great with the whole computer thing so my page has yet to be redesigned to resemble me, but that's something I have to work on. As they say, don't judge a book by it's cover? Let's just hope that for now, the content can do the work! What content will I be  posting? Honestly, whatever comes to my mind that day, whatever gives me inspiration I guess; fashion, people, just daily life...Things that make me happy.. Who knows?  Anyways, that's enough rambling.

Enjoy this insight to a 17 year old girl's life. My life is only beginning so join me on my journey.

Bringing Smiles to Romania Part 7 of 7

I Wished Them Luck and Then I Said Goodbye As the sun sets on another humbling day, I stare out across the sleepy fields in Cihea. I am sitting on the balcony of the Mission Centre reflecting on my time here in this beautiful country. The crickets have began their evening song and little birds are tweeting their lullabies whilst children's giggles fade into silence as bedtime approaches. Lights have started to turn on, like stars surrounding the fields, luminating the few houses there are in these rural lands. The dogs engage in their twilight bark (101 Dalmatian fans please appreciate this) and the smoke of an evening fire rises up to meet the silhouettes of distant trees and watercoloured sky with clouds sketched  into the horizon. The city lights of Oradea twinkle in the distance. Nobody could recreate this moment with paint, film or photography. It's a scene fit for poetry. Bringing Smiles to Romania Part 2 of 7

A Rude Awakening My alarm rudely interrupted my dreams this morning. I was unimpressed with it's lack of respect for being quiet when people are sleeping. As my eyes narrowly squinted open, I dragged my heavy limbs to the edge of the bed, turned off my alarm (whilst silently cursing my phone for waking me) and faceplanted back into the welcoming embrace of my pillow. The sun's beaming rays streamed from the window tickling and growing across my face, gently waking me for a second time this morning. Finally I got up.  The houses here are very beautiful and ecclectic. Each have a unique personality. It's not like home where we have groups of identical houses built for efficiency amd profit. No. These people have their own land in which they've built their own houses to represent their tastes.
